Dinner in Bellevue, Blogging in Sweat Pants

November 10, 2009 · Print This Article

So last night, SS (wife) and I went to visit some friends in Bellevue.  Our good friends Chris and Melissa purchased a condo on Main street south of downtown. “Old Main” is one of my favorite neighborhoods on the Eastside.  We brought a bottle of wine, enjoyed catching up in their HUGE living room and then decided to head out for dinner.  There are plenty of restaurants to choose from.  The consensus was a place with good beer and light fare. We ended up going to the 520 Grill.

It was not my first time there.  In fact, I really enjoy their food and have met friends there before for a few late night cocktails.  Last night, we had $3 Mac and Jacks, nachos, wings, quesadillas and really good conversation.   In fact, we shut the place down.  Everyone enjoyed the evening and here I am, usually at work by this point, I’m posting from my living room sofa :-) .  My guess, is that my lack of motivation came from the 4 beers and the unusual diet of chicken wings, nachos, football and friends.  To be honest, we don’t do it enough.  It was a blast.

Off to the shower….

Great though sad post. As a REALTOR in the Phoenix market, it’s still shocking to see the value drop. And while I am thankful any home sells, I worry that too many are being sold to “investors” (and yes, there is a reason that’s in “s). We need stabilization of our marketplace, and owner occupants are THE number 1 way to get a market stabilized. And with prices as low as they are, coupled with the lowest interest rates in years, it’s my hope more homeowners will be purchasing these homes as the new year dawns!

Got something to say?
